Extraordinary Ministers

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMs) assist the priests and deacons with the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ to the faithful. They must be fully initiated Catholics (i.e., received the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist), and be at least 16 years of age. They should regularly attend Mass on Sundays and holy days of obligation. Training sessions and commissioning required.
