Santa’s Secret Workshop (November-December)

  • Each year Santa Maria del Mar teens volunteer to help keep the spirit of giving alive in the hearts of our youth by serving to create this workshop
  • It is that time of year again! The Life Teen and Light Teens will be collecting items to sell in the annual Secret Santa’s Workshop. Secret Santa’s Workshop is a store we open for the parish children to shop for their families. We offer the items at whatever price they can afford and it is only possible through the generous donations from our parishioners. It is important to note that this is not a rummage sale but rather we are looking for new items that the children and Santa’s elves can gift wrap and put under the tree for their families and friends. Below are the categories of items we have had donated in the past years. Our Workshop will work in conjunction with the CD Café during the Sundays in December. We ask that you label your donations with Secret Santa Workshop on it and leave them in the Gathering area by the Signs.
  • Secret Santa dates for 2015 are: December 6, 13, and 20 in the parish hall following Sunday a.m. Masses only

Rosary Makers

  • Rosary Makers is a group devoted to spreading the message of Our Lady.  Children are invited to join Miss Pat Quinn on Sunday mornings during CD cafe.  For more information please contact Miss Pat via e-mail

Project Share

  • Teens are encouraged to check out the link below to get involved in this year’s Project Share with parishioner Roseanne Stocker.

  • Project Share provides Christmas toys and new/gently used bicycles to 1400 children in Pierson and in Flagler County.

  • Project Share also provides monthly groceries for 50 families in Pierson. The families we help in Pierson are mostly immigrant farm workers who have been very hard hit by the economic downturn. They are truly having trouble feeding their children.

  • Please Mark your calendars now to come and help us with Project Share at Santa Maria del Mar. Keep in mind teens you can receive Service Hours for your schools and confirmation hours for those who need them.

  • Sign up during the Month of November at all Life Teen and Light functions. See the information below to sign up for additional days to go and help Roseanne and her family sort the toys for the children and Families of Pierson. God bless.
